What we are, and what we are not
Phoenix Home Projects is a free referral service. We collect information about your project and introduce you to independent contractors. We are not a contractor, we do not perform or supervise any work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor. Contractors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Contractors may pay us a referral fee.
Your responsibility to check contractors
We apply screening standards described on our How It Works page, but we do not guarantee any contractor's work, pricing, licensing status, insurance, schedule, or conduct. Before hiring anyone, verify their license and insurance with the appropriate state or local authority, check references, get a written contract, and confirm who is pulling permits.
Cost information
Prices, ranges, and calculator results on this site are general planning estimates based on typical projects. They are not quotes or offers, and real prices can be higher or lower.
Communications
If you submit a request and give consent, we and up to 3 matched contractors may contact you as described on the form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or emailing chris.m.lee.business@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, information about another person without their permission, or automated or spam requests. Do not copy or scrape the site.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and service are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phoenix Home Projects is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any work performed or not performed by a contractor. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
